Inspired by Psalm 23 A Psalm of David
Dear Lord, You are my Shepherd. Because of you I shall not want. You make me lie down in green pastures. You lead me beside still waters. You restore my soul; You dear heavenly Father, guide me in the paths of righteousness for Your name sake.
Dear Lord Jesus, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness, mercy and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Your house forever. In Jesus name, Amen.
“The Lord is my Shephard; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23.
